Our small community is like one of those 10 year family reunions you go to and look around asking yourself, “How are we all related?!”. We’ve got residents of all ages, backgrounds and walks of life but within each of us is a kindred, soul-deep love for Beaver Island. It’s our home. Those of us who live here year round have and will continue to persevere through any obstacle, no matter the odds because together, we are ONE.
Our people are our family and everything we do at the farm is to ensure that our island can be ecologically preserved while remaining sustainable for human survival.

Our community depends entirely on imports for fresh produce. During the Winter, food supply is severely limited. We aim to change that!
