About Our Program
Farm To School
In partnership with the Beaver Island Community School, our local farm has launched a tailored Farm To School program that provides full grown leafy greens and herbs utilizing a unique hydroponic system designed by Fork Farms out of Wisconsin! This state of the art equipment called the Flex Farm, allows us to grow year-round for the dual purpose cafeteria that serves both students and seniors through the Charlevoix Commission on Aging.
